Join the Bethany Team Job Title: Maintenance Tech 1 Compensation: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience and shift Shifts Available FT Day shift ________________________________________ Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and comfort of healthcare and residential facilities. This role supports operational continuity and contributes to a safe and welcoming environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Respond to unanticipated facility needs to minimize risk and service disruption. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, systems, and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable codes. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across multiple disciplines. Receive on-the-job training in: - Electrical: Lighting, outlets, switches, panels, medium voltage systems. - Plumbing: Fixtures, valves, faucets, toilets, drains. - HVAC: Filters, coils, compressors, VFDs. - Power Plant Systems: Boilers, chillers, water softeners. - General Maintenance: Carpentry, painting, workspace modifications, fire/smoke wall repairs. - Groundskeeping: Snow removal, exterior building upkeep. - Patient Care Equipment: Fire detection systems, pneumatic tube systems. Maintain inventory and documentation of parts and repairs. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies. Attend training sessions.
