Job Duties
- Performs pre-analytical and post-analytical activities and specimen processing duties
- Performs phlebotomy on inpatients and outpatients, including neonatal/pediatric patients; perform EKG in outpatient setting
- Triage all lab samples and requests after verification of appropriate information
- Enter and verify patient and test info into computer
- Generate computer labels for specimens and deliver to appropriate areas
- Prepare samples for transport to referral labs
- Document draws, added tests, and cancelled/rejected specimens
Salary Range: $34.10 – $43.25/hour
Description
As a Phlebotomist of the Support Services Laboratory, your duties include:
- Performs pre-analytical and post-analytical activities and specimen processing duties
