Overview

DSV is a global leader in transport and logistics. This position supports warehouse operations including receiving, labeling, storing, shipping, and value-add services as required by DSV Air & Sea standard policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities for an assigned shift or area.
• Adhere to warehouse work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping, and value-add services.
• Meet company objectives in performance, safety, quality, leadership, and customer service.
• Collaborate with supervisors, warehouse managers, and freight forwarding teams to improve service to the client.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to the correct destination; stage, stack, and load merchandise appropriately.
• Move products from staging/unloading areas into the correct load door and trailer; ensure trailer is secured and chocked per safety policies.
• Load/unload products using proper handling techniques; segregate, check, and stage inbound product.
• Verify driver, trailer, and bills for the specific carrier/location; count freight with driver and ensure paperwork is completed; load trailer for safe transit.
• Perform forklift activities as required; label, sort, wrap, pack/repack; maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Maintain an organized desk/office area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in customer service and logistics (or an equivalent education/experience combination).
• Material Handling Certification.
• Dangerous Goods Qualification.
• Forklift Operation and Certification.
• Some experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• English preferred (reading, writing and verbal).
• Proficiency in basic MS Office applications.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision; detail-oriented and organized; strong oral and written communication; high level of customer service.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 40 pounds; ability to operate material handling equipment; stand for several hours; accommodations available as needed.

Working Conditions & Other

• Normal warehouse environment with varying temperatures; occasional fumes or airborne particles; moderate noise levels.

• At-will employment; discharge not required to be for cause; employment terms may vary by state (Montana exception).
• Compensation: base pay typically $17.00 - $22.50 per hour; final offer based on knowledge, location, skills, and experience.
