JANITOR (FULL TIME) role at SSC Services For Education

Location: New Kent County Schools - 8325 South Quaker Road, Quinton, VA 23141. Openings at other locations within the school district may be available. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.

Requirement: Prior janitorial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning; return furnishings to correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment; sanitize surfaces and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks with initiative.
• Complete all tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform duties in accordance with federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinishing floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to the team; maintain professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial experience is preferred.
