Overview
Sev1Tech is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services (E2S2) Division. NIWC Atlantic provides design, acquisition, and sustainment services for Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Information Technology (IT) systems.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities
- Active Top Secret Level Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science.
- Individual shall have relevant certifications (with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification): Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Applicable s Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Cloud certifications, etc.
- Minimum 10 (ten) years with Masters or 14 years with Bachelor's degree of experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks.
- Minimum Five (5) years of technical experience in cyber engineering, network infrastructure, networking, server virtualization, object-oriented programming, software development, software configuration, software installation, or cloud transition, or cyber security. Individual shall have knowledge of industry and/or public service (e.g., federal, state, or local) Information Technology services commensurate with a leadership role. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
- Deploys enterprise tools to enable advanced threat hunting
- Integration of platforms across network and cloud (MS Sentinel)
- Automation of cyber capabilities
- Implements network inspection and packet capture systems
- Familiar with metadata tagging and logging
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science. A Master's degree in Computer Science is also acceptable.
