Position Summary
AGBO is seeking a Production Assistant to support our cross-disciplinary team in the development of innovative, story-driven interactive projects. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, communicative, and passionate about games and creative technology. As a Production Assistant, you'll play a key role in keeping development running smoothly—facilitating collaboration, maintaining schedules, tracking tasks, and helping identify and remove potential roadblocks before they arise. This is a great opportunity to grow within a dynamic, collaborative studio while contributing meaningfully to the development process.
This role is based in Raleigh, NC, and candidates located in or willing to relocate to the area are highly preferred, as close collaboration with our technical and creative teams is central to the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules, task lists, and documentation.
- Coordinate communication between departments and team members.
- Facilitate development operations including scheduling meetings, running reviews, and taking meeting notes.
- Support QA efforts by managing bug databases and organizing testing phases.
- Proactively seek resolution by identifying problems and proposing solutions before they become roadblocks.
- 1+ year of experience in game development, project coordination, or production.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, maintaining focus, adaptability, and a proactive mindset when facing shifting priorities or incomplete information.
- Have the ability to communicate with a varying levels of stakeholders, within your team and throughout the company.
- Passionate about video games and technology.
- Familiarity with project management practices and tools (e.g. Jira, Shotgrid) is a plus.
- Familiarity with game development pipelines is a plus.
- Experience with UE5 and/or UEFN is a plus.
