Job Description

Catch, insert and pack finished products coming off the presses. Review final product performing a series of quality checks before loading in to trays or bins. Perform finishing make ready tasks prior to start-ups. Assist with machine make ready and clean up as needed. Operate the Segbert. Follow postal guidelines when packing direct mail orders and completing skid tags.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect product for quality defects and correct errors as they occur
• Pack, band, and/or sort product into batches, packets and pallets
• Count trays on pallet and compare with shipping documents to ensure correct count/weight.
• Document progress and issues/resolutions to ensure proper reporting across departments/shifts
• Other duties as assigned
• Responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. - continuously.
• Ability to exercise basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read a standard ruler.
• Ability to visually identify and inspect detailed product for defects.
• Ability to stand for sustained periods of time.
• Ability to coordinate hand and foot movements to operate staple machine.

Additional Information

The pay range for this role is $16.00- $20.40 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
