We are currently looking for a Production Senior supervisor / assistant manager to lead production operations at our fast-growing manufacturing site in Miharu, Fukushima, Japan.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day manufacturing operations. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and alignment with production goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring adherence to production plans and output targets
  • Driving process efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Overseeing shift operations, production lines, and team scheduling
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Collaborating with maintenance teams and service providers to manage equipment reliability
  • Managing workflows and production timelines (typically 1 week to 3 months in scope)
  • Participating in budget planning and managing production costs
  • Leading preparation, processing, and machine-related setup of wafers, components, or products
  • Implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures and lean practices

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in manufacturing or production leadership, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics industry
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems
  • Ability to manage people, processes, and production resources effectively
  • Hands-on experience with machine setup, CNC/SPS programming is a plus
  • Fluent in Japanese; English proficiency is a plus
  • Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
