$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Production Planner in Orlando, FL with hands-on experience in both assembly and machine shop environments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient scheduling, material availability, and workflow coordination across production departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to support on-time delivery and workflow optimization
- Coordinate planning activities between assembly and machine shops to balance capacity and demand
- Monitor material availability, work orders, and lead times to prevent delays
- Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to manage priorities and resolve bottlenecks
- Analyze production performance data and adjust plans as needed to meet output targets
- Maintain accurate records of job status, part movement, and production timelines
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling, inventory, and efficiency
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a production planner or scheduler in a manufacturing setting
- Direct experience working with both assembly and machine shop operations is required
- Strong understanding of machining processes, production flow, and job routing
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools
