Job Title:- Production Supervisor 5 (151302-1)

Client:- General Motors

Duration:- 12-Month position (may be extended)

Location:- 1455 West Alexis Road, Toledo, OH 43612

Shift:- 2nd shift, 5pm-5:30am

Position Details:- This role supports production as a Group Leader on the 2nd shift. The candidate will work Monday through Saturday, including 3 to 4 weekends per month.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
• Recommend measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
• Review operations and consult with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing issues.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality, and maintenance data to identify problems.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff; resolve personnel grievances.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
• Technical skills or certifications: Manufacturing certificates are a plus but not required.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in automotive manufacturing.
• Skills: Problem solving, continuous improvement, good communication, teamwork, and decisiveness.
• Automotive experience is REQUIRED.
