Job Title: Production Supervisor – Matcha & Beverage Operations

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at our matcha and beverage production unit. This role involves overseeing the preparation of high-quality matcha-based drinks, desserts, and related items while ensuring efficiency, consistency, and top-tier hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations related to the preparation of matcha beverages, desserts, and café food items
  • Lead, train, and manage a team of baristas, kitchen staff, and production assistants
  • Ensure product consistency, quality control, and adherence to presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food hygiene regulations (SFA, NEA, etc.)
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for drink preparation, equipment use, and safety practices
  • Assist in new menu item testing and implementation
  • Troubleshoot production issues and suggest process improvements
  • Prepare daily production reports and collaborate with management on performance and output

Requirements

  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in a cafe, F&B, or beverage production environment
  • Strong knowledge of matcha drinks, tea-based beverages, and café-style desserts is a plus
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations in Singapore (e.g., SFA, NEA standards)
  • Good organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced service environment
  • Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, or shifts as required
  • Physically fit – able to handle equipment, stand for extended periods, and assist in daily prep

Working Conditions

  • Shifts may include early starts, weekends, and public holidays depending on operational needs
