Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Production Supervisor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the production line, ensures high-quality standards are met, and promotes a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, packaging, and quality control. This position requires a hands-on approach, strategic thinking, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Base pay range
$75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

We are a tight-knit team in a well-funded company, focused on quality and precision in food production and packaging. This on-site, manufacturing-floor role emphasizes safe, efficient production with strong collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all production and operational processes.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
- Oversee the packaging process, ensuring correct materials are used and product weights are accurately calculated.
- Maintain a high level of workplace safety and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team with a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Implement and monitor sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic production environment.
- Identify bottlenecks in the production process and implement effective solutions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of production plans and schedules.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and high productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in food production and packaging.
- Knowledge and experience with GMP, SQF, Quality Control, and team leadership.
- Ability to calculate weights and manage packaging materials effectively.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
