Production Technician I

Location: Orangeburg, NY area

Start Date: ASAP!!

Duration: 6+ Month Contract (possible Contract-to-Hire)

Hours: Monday-Friday; 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm)

Rate: $21-23/hour

Experience / "MUST HAVES":

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ yrs. experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working on a production line
• Experience working in a GMP/SOP environment

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Maintain all production areas in a clean and orderly manner consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Perform repairs and maintenance of facilities, wells, production equipment, and safety equipment.
• Ensure the continuous operation of production platforms.
• Maintain accurate production reports, test safety and environmental equipment, and document all activities.
• Possess basic machinery/system troubleshooting skills and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems.
• Understand planning and scheduling techniques related to asset care management.
• Maintain production standards and targets; identify areas for process improvement.
• Document production activities by completing forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment and batches.
• Perform all duties safely, adhering to company safety policies.
• Complete all required records, reports, logs, and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Maintain quality standards and production pace.

Note: Gloves and goggles will be provided.
