Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the manufacturing and development site for electronic toothbrushes and other dental products used in our Philips Sonicare line and other oral care products. In this Production Supervisor role, you are responsible for leading a team where you will be coaching employees and assigning responsibilities to production employees and supervisors.

Your role:

  • Supervises and guides a compact team of skilled direct reports, ensuring their productivity and effectiveness in executing tasks with precision and efficiency.
  • Develops comprehensive financial forecasts and annual operating plans to strategically guide financial decisions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Maximizes manufacturing performance by meticulously optimizing key metrics such as safety, quality, productivity, equipment utilization, cost of non-quality, and overall efficiency, thereby enhancing operational effectiveness and streamlining production processes.
  • Provides thorough and ongoing training to operators in production processes and Health & Safety protocols, prioritizing their competence and safety while executing tasks.
  • Ensures strict adherence to specifications and requirements in work instructions and tools utilized throughout the production process, maintaining consistency and accuracy.
  • Actively implements Lean project methodologies and facilitates the seamless integration of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes to streamline operations, drive efficiency, and foster continuous improvement.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've acquired 4+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Site overseeing a production line (This role is a people leader).
  • Your skills include Environment Health and Safety, Manufacturing Principles, Quality Monitoring, Continuous Improvement and Supply Chain Management (SCM).
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree/Vocational Education in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Production Engineering or equivalent and a preferably Lean Leadership Training/ Certification or equivalent.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Additional Information

The pay range for this position in California is $63,000 to $100,000. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
