Summary

The Production Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production workflows, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement, managing cross-functional teams, and meeting production goals in alignment with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage production teams across multiple shifts to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets
• Develop and implement production schedules, resource plans, and workflow optimization strategies
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues and improve processes
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to build a high-performance culture
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability
• Support new product introductions and process validations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in production management, preferably in a regulated or technical manufacturing environment
• MUST come from Industrial, welding, metal fabrication experience
• MUST have strong Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S/5 WHY experience
• Experience with A3 Methodology
• Proven track record of implementing lean principles and driving operational excellence
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage change effectively
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher strongly preferred

Base pay range

$115,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr
