The Production Clerk is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production process, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Use a designated production floor interface, Op’s Center to track and register employee’s activities during the manufacturing process. This role involves coordinating with various teams and maintaining accurate records. This position is critical for the ERP system to function correctly. The data they track will be used by management, making it essential for accurate and reliable information flow throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Schedule Management: Ensure all production employees are logged into Ops Center and on the correct job. Track that employees are logging out for lunch and at the end of their shift. Extract data from Ops Center to review for accuracy and report to management.
- Communication & Coordination: Obtain status updates as needed. Complete the pass down to the next shift Production Clerk at the end of every shift.
- Administrative Tasks: Provide updates and address issues with the Management Team as they arise.
Education/Knowledge/Skills/Experience Desired
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bilingual English/ Spanish required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and project management tools
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
