Job Overview

The Forklift Operator II is responsible for material movement throughout the facility using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Pull vending and cold drink equipment to fulfill sales requests.
• Secure outbound loads and attach proper documentation (STO).
• Load and unload trailers, supporting delivery activities and updating SAP/CONA systems.
• Conduct safety and housekeeping activities, including vehicle checks and maintaining a clean work area.
• Assist with staging equipment, yard maintenance, and other miscellaneous activities.
• Operate switcher to maneuver trailers as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Knowledge of safety principles and PPE use.
• Advanced forklift skills, with the ability to operate safely in confined areas.
• Basic pallet-jack skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow SOPs and complete documentation accurately.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in high/low temperatures and noisy conditions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Forklift, pallet jack, and switcher operation certifications.
• Class A CDL where required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in logistics and understanding of loading strategies.

Work Environment

High noise levels and non-temperature-controlled conditions.
