Overview
Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a full-time BE/BC fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Sports Medicine physician with a special interest in hip arthroscopy. The position is located in Hershey, PA, and offers an academic-style practice with strong subspecialty programs in adult and pediatric orthopaedic care.
This role is part of a regional referral, tertiary care practice with a Level 1 Trauma program. The qualified candidate will be a full-time faculty member of the Penn State Health Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation and hold an academic rank within the Penn State College of Medicine. The department collaborates with Primary Care Sports Medicine physicians to support athletic team physician contracts in the region.
What we’re seeking
- Medical degree - M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
- BE/BC in Orthopaedics
- Fellowship training in Sports Medicine
- Excellent patient care abilities and interest in teaching as well as participation in clinical research
- Strong interest in Hip Arthroscopy and developing a hip arthroscopy practice
