Southridge Behavioral Hospital is a new, state-of-the-art facility. As a joint venture with the Trinity Health System and Universal Health Services, we will serve up to 96 adult and geriatric patients across four units when we open in 2025.

Position Description:

The Nursing Supervisor is a Registered Nurse (RN) who provides direct care, leadership, direction, and supervision for all nursing care on their shift. The nursing supervisor is the on-site administrator during the “off hours” (weekends, holidays and night shifts), providing direction and supervision in all areas of the hospital. The nursing supervisor coordinates admissions, discharges, response to emergency codes, and overall quality of care for patients.

Hours and Location:

Full-Time. 7pm to 7:30am for night shift. We are located on the south side of Grand Rapids, near the intersection of M-6 and Byron Center Ave SW: 6291 Venture Hills Boulevard SW, Byron Center, MI 49315

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience: A minimum of three yearsf experience in a psychiatric health-care facility required. Previous House Supervisor experience strongly preferred.
• License: Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Michigan required.
