What's Expected of the Moulder Operator?

The Moulder Operator is responsible for setting up and operating the Moulder to meet quality and production standards.

• Sets up, operates, and verifies work on the machine to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Monitors products to ensure quality and rejects non-conforming products.
• Assists in training new operators.
• Completes documentation accurately, including lean records, production reports, and timekeeping.
• Sets up equalizing machines on the Moulder.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in machine tool technology preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with woodworking equipment, machine programming, or setup.
• Basic maintenance knowledge and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of tooling.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high concentration.
• Proven ability to meet quality and production standards.
