Crestline Hotels & Resorts is hiring: Night Auditor in Fort Wayne

Overview

Night Auditor role at Crestline Hotels & Resorts (Hampton Inn Fort Wayne Southwest). This is a full-time overnight position with a schedule of 2 nights of Night Audit and 2–3 days, 3pm–11pm.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ambassador to the hotel by handling all check-ins and check-outs, answering incoming calls, and upholding guest service standards.
• Perform nightly accounting and work as a runner for housekeeping needs during the midnight shift.
• Compute, classify, and record numerical data to maintain complete financial records; post and verify data in the Property Management System (PMS).
• Check accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions and reconcile related accounts.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel features/services, room types and rates, daily house count, expected arrivals/departures, and room availability.
• Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas; secure cash and bank handling processes.
• Process currency exchange, payments to guest accounts, adjustments, rebates, paid-outs, and credits as required.
• Operate and maintain security of the PMS and POS systems; balance and audit end-of-day reports, including Banquet and miscellaneous charges.
• Input sales figures into the PMS and balance accounts; run and distribute end-of-day, morning, and flash reports.
• Verify and close checks in the POS system; verify room statistics and ensure interfaces are up and running.
• Restock printers, review assignments with the on-coming supervisor, and document maintenance needs on work orders.
• Attend monthly department meetings and training sessions as necessary.

Education and Experience

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• One year of experience in a similar hotel position.
• Must be able to work the overnight shift 11pm–7am.
• Basic computer skills required.
