Responsibilities

• Operate electric or gas powered forklifts safely and efficiently to and from various departments.
• Unload, load, transfer, and stack products and supplies from trucks and other sources.
• Interpret shipping orders or receiving reports to determine items to be loaded or unloaded.
• Stack and unstack pallets (up to 5 high) and move products to appropriate locations.
• Operate wrappers for products as needed and load railcars.
• Check product quality and verify shipping information.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and remedy any low fluid levels.
• Track, input, change, and update inventory data.
• Ensure proper weight distribution on rail cars and trucks; comply with GMPs and safety rules.
• Maintain general housekeeping and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to pass the Seneca Forklift certification test.
• Basic knowledge of forklifts.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
