Comprehensive Logistics is hiring: Forklift Operator - C Shift in Kansas City

Comprehensive Logistics (CLI) is a full-service third-party logistics (3PL) provider specializing in warehouse and transportation management services across North America. We proudly serve Fortune 100 U.S. companies and Fortune Global 500 OEM/Tier 1 customers.

We are currently seeking Forklift Operators to join our team. The Forklift Operator will perform a variety of tasks under the close supervision of the shift supervisor to support daily warehouse and assembly operations.

Shift Details

• C Shift: Friday–Saturday, 5:30 AM–5:00 PM & Sunday–Monday, 5:30 PM–5:00 AM

Essential Functions

• Operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload trailers.
• Transport automotive parts from the warehouse to the assembly line.
• Use RF scanning equipment to verify inventory information.
• Perform quality checks per company and customer specifications.
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and free of defects.
• Follow safety and operational guidelines for forklift use.
• Complete daily forklift inspection checklists.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, scrap removal, and pallet/cardboard disposal.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions.
• Accurate counting and scanning skills.
• Flexibility to work in multiple roles and contribute to a team environment.
• Ability to work full-time with overtime and weekends as required.
• Strong attention to detail, motivation, and reliability.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. continuously.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a busy warehouse environment with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures. Steel-toed shoes are required as part of personal protective equipment (PPE).
