Job Description

Forklift Driver - 1st Shift

Starting minimum rate of $16.68/hr

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Occasional overtime may be required, including weekends

Responsibilities include driving forklift trucks equipped with various lifting devices to move raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods within warehouse, storage yard, or factory. May load and unload semi-trailers, maintain accurate inventory, perform safety checks, and perform routine maintenance such as lubricating trucks and recharging batteries.

Qualifications

• Skilled in operating forklift controls for starting, stopping, backing, and maneuvering through aisles and ramps.
• Knowledge of forklift dimensions and weight capacities.
• Ability to assess clearance heights and widths for safe operation.
• Recognize load capacities and proper load balancing.
• Knowledge of storage area layout for efficient item placement.

Additional Information

The pay range is $16.68 - $21.96 per hour, with actual pay based on education, skills, experience, performance, shift, and location. Compensation may include bonuses, overtime, shift differentials, and other benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.
