Epigenomics is the “software programming” layer sitting on top of our genomic DNA “hardware” and controls the function of all genes, and is a critical driver of many human diseases, including cancer. Our founders invented the technology capable of decoding this programming layer and producing the richest data output of the epigenome with 1000x improvement in cell requirement over existing technologies. This technology was published in top journals and was highlighted in Stanford’s annual report as a top technology.

We have proprietary epigenomics profiling technology and build deep data analytics to unlock the value of this technology for our pharma, biotech customers. We are defining the field of epigenomics with the goal to bring about the era of personalized medicine.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist with bookkeeping, including managing financial records and transactions.
  2. Interface with external accounting, payroll, banking, tax, and legal providers.
  3. Manage company credit cards and financial documents.
  4. Oversee office facilities and real estate management.
  5. Order and manage office supplies, food, drinks, and equipment.
  6. Handle general HR tasks: drafting job descriptions, posting job openings, prescreening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  7. Process payments and paperwork related to new hires and other legal documents.
  8. Provide executive assistance: manage calendars, schedule meetings and business trips, and coordinate conference calls.
  9. Manage correspondences, prioritize and respond to emails, and handle office filings and organization.
  10. Plan and coordinate travel logistics and other arrangements.
  11. Assist with various projects, including sales and marketing initiatives, as needed.
  12. A truly competent office manager is a Jack-of-all-trades, capable of handling diverse tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting senior executives, preferably in a startup environment of 5+ people.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in prioritizing appointments and meetings.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, capable of balancing multiple priorities and completing tasks on time.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Professional and tactful communication style, able to handle confidential information appropriately.
