Long Beach Rescue Mission is a place of healing and hope serving the greater Long Beach community by improving the quality of life of the hurting and homeless through loving and equipping them to be reconciled to God, self, family, and society.

Administrative Office

Help out with filing, answering phones and other clerical duties.

Legal Aid

Use your knowledge of the law in one of our legal aid clinics, advising Mission clients on matters such as traffic tickets, record expungement, and child support.

Assist customers, sort donations and help tidy the store. We especially need volunteers with an in-depth knowledge of online sales and product/inventory pricing.

*As of March 1st 2020, Samaritan House will only be accepting donations of food and hygiene items. All other donated items currently listed on this page must be dropped off at our Thrift Store during the time listed above.

Long Beach Rescue Mission offers a variety of rewarding opportunities for volunteers, and we could not function in the same capacity we are operating at today without the support of volunteers.
