Job Description

Job Title: Administrative Support

Location: Sun Valley, CA 91532

Duration: 6 months

Pay Rate: $14.00/hour on W2

Job Summary

Intermediate level position under general supervision, providing a wide variety of administrative and staff support services to an organizational unit.

GENERAL FUNCTION:

This position will provide administrative support to the VP of Nextore. The Administrative Assistant is a team player who acts as a role model for other administrative support staff by demonstrating consistent high-level performance, maintaining professionalism, and upholding confidentiality and trust.

To succeed, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

  • Formats, types, and edits routine materials, including correspondence, memos, reports, and confidential documents.
  • Receives and screens calls and visitors; schedules appointments and meetings; resolves routine issues; refers other matters to appropriate staff.
  • Prepares and updates internal reports, verifies data, and refers problems to the manager.
  • Maintains and updates department files, records, and publications, including confidential materials.
  • Schedules meetings and appointments, notifies attendees, and makes arrangements.
  • Arranges domestic and international travel.
  • Assists in preparing and controlling records, statistics, and reports related to operations and personnel changes.
  • Administers programs, projects, and processes specific to the operating unit.
  • Serves as administrative liaison regarding purchasing, personnel, facilities, and operations issues.

The manager is seeking a more junior-level candidate with accounting experience in a high-volume environment.
