Under the direction of the Transportation Manager, you will be responsible for grain deliveries within AgState. At AgState, you will find a team atmosphere committed to safety and excellent customer service and a stable career.

Responsibilities
- Drive trucks to deliver grain, fertilizer or feed ingredients to end users and within the company as transfers.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on truck and complete daily pre-trip inspections.
- Schedule maintenance with appropriate personnel.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Keep the vehicle clean in accordance with AgState’s image.
- Provide excellent customer service when greeting customers and when working with co-workers and other departments.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner according to AgState’s Safety Policy.
- Assist at other locations, as needed.
- Must be a team player.
Qualifications / Physical Demands
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
- Must be able to lift 50 lb from the floor to 48 inches.
- Requires a high degree of attention and dexterity.
- May be required to wear a respirator.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL with endorsements.
- Desire to obtain further licensing for agronomy needs.
- Will train.
