What you’ll do

Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with all customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adheres to operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to operating procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established procedures and standards
• Processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed
• Maintains store cleanliness and organization and participates in store-wide maintenance
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Supports shrink reduction goals and safety initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Able to respond to changes and unexpected situations
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
• Works effectively with peers and supervisors
• Retail customer experience preferred
