We’re looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative Accountant to join our corporate finance team in Omaha. This role is critical to keeping our communities financially strong and successful. You’ll take ownership of the month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and provide backup support across payroll, accounts payable/receivable, tax, and banking functions.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for multiple entities.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, internal reports, and account reconciliations.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including intercompany transactions.
- Collaborate with Finance to analyze financial data, identify trends, and highlight risks or opportunities.
- Support banking, cash flow, and tax/audit activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and strengthen controls.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- CPA preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate accounting.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and multi-entity accounting.
- Experience with Sage Intacct or NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
