We’re looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative Accountant to join our corporate finance team in Omaha. This role is critical to keeping our communities financially strong and successful. You’ll take ownership of the month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and provide backup support across payroll, accounts payable/receivable, tax, and banking functions.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for multiple entities.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, internal reports, and account reconciliations.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including intercompany transactions.
• Collaborate with Finance to analyze financial data, identify trends, and highlight risks or opportunities.
• Support banking, cash flow, and tax/audit activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and strengthen controls.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in corporate accounting.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and multi-entity accounting.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
