Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract to Hire, Fully Onsite
Salary: $25-$30 an hour DOE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Accountant to support our client's team in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing compliance with accounting standards, and driving financial insights. This is a contract role ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a proactive approach to process improvement and reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare journal entries and contribute to general ledger reconciliation processes
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and balance sheets
• Perform data entry for purchase orders and invoices
• Participate in payroll expense tracking and budget formulation
• Respond to internal inquiries related to financial transactions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance (Required)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP (Required)
• 1+ years of relevant accounting experience, including AP/AR responsibility (Required)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
