Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, see below for hours

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites.
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education.
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams.
• Deliver a consistent, professional security presence and customer service.
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report concerns according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized access and inappropriate behavior.
• Complete required documentation and reports related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related needs and concerns.
• Follow all company and site-specific protocols for access control, visitor management, and emergency response.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to changing conditions or emergencies at the location.

• Availability across Saturdays and Sundays; flexibility with shifts.
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company.
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Valid armed guard card or license as required by state/local regulations.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Eligible to be considered with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
