Overview Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team. Join an innovative clean energy company located in Downtown, where you'll play a pivotal role in establishing their cybersecurity environment from the ground up. As the second member of the cybersecurity team, youll work closely with the Cybersecurity Manager to build and secure the infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a sustainable energy startup and be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team. Pay and Location Base pay range: $55.00/hr - $60.00/hr Position: Cybersecurity Engineer Compensation: $55-$60/hr, depending on experience Location: Houston, Texas Key Responsibilities & Duties Assist in setting up cybersecurity environment from scratch Collaborate with manager to develop security protocols Implement endpoint detection and response systems Manage access and identity management tools Conduct network security assessments Develop and enforce email phishing defenses Ensure cloud security compliance Configure and maintain NexGen firewalls Required Qualifications & Experience 2+ years in Cybersecurity 5+ years experience in end user support or infrastructure roles Experience with endpoint detection and response Experience with Microsoft security tools, specifically Purview Nice to Have Skills & Experience Knowledge of OT environments and DNS security Familiarity with SASE, SSE, and CASB rules Healthcare benefits: 3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insurance Voluntary and Long-term disability insurance Paid time off, 401k, and holiday pay Weekly direct deposit or pay card deposit Additional Information If you are interested in learning more about the Cybersecurity Engineer opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
