Overview
Production Coordinator. LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Production Coordinator with 3 years of experience in a similar role. This is a Direct Hire opportunity, located in Manhattan, New York.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and translate customer manuals into actionable production plans – Develop comprehensive production manuals for each account, detailing inspection protocols, testing requirements, packaging standards, and trim specifications.
- Manage Purchase Orders from creation to completion – Generate and format POs in alignment with customer specifications; oversee edits, updates, and tracking throughout the production cycle.
- Coordinate directly with overseas partners – Communicate timelines and shipping schedules to ensure alignment with customer expectations and delivery requirements.
- Monitor and maintain the Time and Action calendar – Track key milestones including licensing and buyer approvals, lab testing, and inspections to support on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with sales teams – Provide timely updates on production status and order timelines to support customer communication and planning.
- Engage daily with cross-functional teams – Work closely with Sourcing, Packaging, Licensing, and Product Development to gather essential information for production execution.
- Lead weekly Product Development meetings – Address production-related concerns and ensure alignment across teams.
- Coordinate vessel bookings with the Import team – Schedule shipments to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements.
Experience
- 3-5 years of Production or Merchandising experience
