Responsibilities

• Responsible for the consistent production of a high-quality product in a baking facility while incorporating safety and sanitation standards.
• Lead pre-shift and lead meetings during scheduled shifts; promote safety through coaching and training initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production counts for all products.
• Implement company initiatives such as manufacturing transformation, ODI record keeping, SOPs, etc.
• Ensure Quality Control Plans (QCPs) are filled out accurately for all positions in production areas.
• Train all newly hired associates.
• Possibly manage breaks for associates on the line.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times according to 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to GMPs and ensure associates follow GMPs; comply with applicable regulations (FDA, OSHA, Department of Agriculture, Department of Health, etc.).
• Ensure production activities are conducted and that associates perform tasks as required.
• Ability to perform all duties with little or no supervision.
• May be responsible for daily production data entry in ODI and Oracle.

What We Need From You

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in fresh baked goods, bread and roll facility or process manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
