Production Supervisor Job at Remedy Intelligent Staffing in Town of Texas

Overview

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is looking for a Production Supervisor for a food manufacturing company. This position is for the 2nd shift (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM). All interested candidates MUST be bilingual. Experience in food manufacturing is a plus!

Pay is dependent on experience and will be discussed at the time of the interview.

Responsibilities

• The ability to exhibit strong interpersonal skills, set expectations, measure and observe performance and provide feedback.
• Supervises a staff of 100+ temporary workers. Ensures that all tasks are performed in accordance with operating procedures and that all GMPs are followed.
• Walks the production area and observes workers\' performance to ensure good and safe work habits and coaches workers as needed.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing best practices and safety.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with workers from other cultures in a sensitive manner. Able to work well with production workers, supervisors and the operations manager.
• Participates in evening and morning production meetings.
• Competent in use of Excel, Word and Outlook.

Requirements

• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts 6 days a week
• Must have a fully composed resume and 2 verifiable references
• Must be bilingual
• Food Manufacturing a Plus but not a Must
• MUST have Production Supervisory experience
• Must meet all Remedy hiring criteria
• Strong written and verbal skills for internal and external communications.
• Must be a people person and like working with people
