Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to fill an opening at a lumber company in Riverside, CA.

Schedule

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am–6:00pm or 9:00am-9:00pm (12-hour shifts mandatory), with OT and Saturdays required when needed

Requirements for Production Supervisor

• 2 years of recent experience as a Production Supervisor
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in outdoor conditions
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be comfortable supervising laborers in a physically demanding setting
• Prior experience in roles such as General Laborer, Forklift Driver, Construction Worker, Demolition Worker, Framing Carpenter, Material Handler, Loader/Unloader, or Lumper is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor

• Supervise staff in multiple areas to maintain consistent production and minimize downtime
• Intervene with team members to keep them focused on tasks and redirect when needed
• Complete a daily Safety Officer log to identify hazards and prevent workplace accidents
• Report issues to management promptly and accurately
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and firm approach when enforcing policies and procedures
• Work outdoors in variable weather conditions and support the team in a physically demanding environment
