Job Summary and Qualifications

The RN coordinates high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with providers and the care team. Responsibilities include:

• Assessing and managing patient pain.
• Performing procedures and documenting care.
• Responding promptly to patient needs and educating patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and lifestyle changes.

Qualifications include:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 60 months).
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (within 30 days).
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (within 18 months).
• Texas RN licensure.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (within 30 days).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support or equivalent (within 60 months).
• 1 year ER experience preferred.
