Location and Details

Location: Facility in Mullica Hill, New Jersey

Job Details: Travel ER RN position for 13 weeks. Responsibilities include delivering rapid-response, high-quality emergency care and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments
• Monitor patient safety and comfort and respond to immediate needs
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
• Initiate patient education plans as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers, and other staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP, and SANE certifications
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

• Ability to read instructions, follow verbal directions, and basic PC skills
• Physical ability to perform required tasks (lifting 50-100 lbs, movement, etc.)
