RN (Nights) Job at CareRing Health in Newton Falls

Overview: Rapidly growing and urgently hiring. $1,500 sign-on bonus. Homecare with Heart is offering a competitive pay scale in the area for compassionate and experienced nurses to provide care for clients in their homes.

Work Schedule: RN – Week 1: Monday 11p-7a, Week 2: Thursday 11p-7a. This position will serve Trumbull County. Pay for RN: $30.00/hour.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication in accordance with standards of practice.
• Encourage social rehabilitative skills and encourage self-care and independence.
• Perform client treatments in accordance with the Plan of Care.
• Assist the consumer in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
• Prepare clinical and progress notes to document care provided.
• Monitor, document, and report any change in client condition to the Clinical Director/Clinical Supervisor.
• Promote activities to achieve a safe and healthy environment.
• Observe aseptic technique when performing client procedures/care.
• Collaborate with other members of the clinical team to develop and improve the Plan of Care.
• Assist the client in achieving established goals in the Plan of Care developed by the RN.
• Maintain productivity according to the standards of the agency.
• Maintain license, CEUs, and mandatory employment requirements.
• Participate in client care meetings, in-services, orientation, and staff meetings.
• Provide service in accordance with the agency’s philosophy, standards, policies, and scope of practice.
• Participate in Performance Improvement and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• Valid driver’s license and use of an automobile due to travel involved.
• Annual MUI (Incident) training as dictated by the State of Ohio Medicaid, Ohio Home Care Program, and Department of Developmental Disabilities.
• Ability to read and understand various documents used by the agency.
• Ability to use a computer, laptop, or tablet.
• Ability to think independently, recognize potential problems, gather information, and know when to contact a supervisor.
• Promote excellent customer service and provide exceptional client care while following agency rules and program rules.
