RN Job Details

• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (travel nursing contract)
• Location: Sandia Ridge Center, Albuquerque, NM 87112
• Start Date: September 30, 2025
• End Date: December 13, 2025
• Duration: 11 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (06:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: Acute care unit with diverse specialties
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1100 - $1180

RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
• Preferred experience in Same Day Surgery, Detox, Bone Marrow Transplant, Mental Health, or IDD
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies and New Mexico state nursing regulations
