Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Forklift Driver/Material Handler. The core hours are 2:15pm to 10:45pm, with an hourly rate of $22.00.

What You’ll Do
- Operate a forklift to move raw materials, components, supplies, and finished goods.
- Load and unload trailers as required.
- Pick and pull stock for delivery.
- Organize pallet area in the backyard on a regular basis.
- Organize material storage locations in backyard and inside the building on a regular basis.
- Complete daily forklift inspection.
- Primary owner for recycling duties for assigned area.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
- Keep work areas clean and safe.
- Support all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives.
- Maintain 5-S throughout shop floor and office areas.
- Track and sustain all visual management tools.
- Encourage, support, and participate in Kaizen improvements and events.
- Other various duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- A minimum 6 months of previous forklift or material handling experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
- Must possess a valid and current driver’s license.
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position; only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications
- One year+ of previous forklift or material handling experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
Position Criteria
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format in English.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends with little advanced notice.
- Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
- Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance; occasionally lift more than 35 lbs. with assistance.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
