Job location: Trinity, Alabama. Role: First Shift Forklift Operator. Shift: 6pm-6am, rotating shifts/weekends. Pay: $19.00 per hour plus incentives: $1.00 night shift premium, $2.00 weekend shift differential. This position is on-site at the location detailed in the job post. Role is with DHL Supply Chain as described in the posting. The environment is warehouse-based, fast-paced, safety-focused, and team-oriented. You will be part of moving stock within the warehouse, loading/unloading shipments, and operating equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Move stock from one area to another within the warehouse environment.
• Load and unload shipments of various sizes.
• Operate equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks as appropriate.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other power equipment (80% of shift).
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring exact numbers and product types are loaded.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards; verify load accuracy and report variances.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Maintain clean and orderly equipment and workspace; assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Six months of warehouse experience and six months forklift operation experience preferred.
• Experience with stand-up material handling equipment, Reach Truck, Dock Stocker, Electric Pallet Jack, and other related equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment and operate safely and efficiently.
