- Job Title: Forklift Operator/ Warehouse Worker (Sunday-Tuesday & every other Wednesday from 5:00am-5:00pm)

Essential duties & responsibilities
- Transport, stage, and load freeze dried fruits and vegetables using forklifts throughout production and warehouse facilities. Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment and production by performing duties to quality and productivity standards.
- Identify product and multiple lot codes. Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing product to verify information against bills of lading, orders, or other records. Put away or stage product in assigned product bay or location. Verify temperature of all incoming product.
- Determine labeling requirements including assembling and packing product containers, preparing and affixing labels on packed containers accurately. Operate equipment safely and in accordance with productivity requirements. Unpack, examine, route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record shortages. Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Understand quality standards, methods and reporting as required. Use safety devices, such as lock-out, as required. Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma/GED. Forklift Certification - will be certified by a Thrive Foods authorized team member.
- Experience of at least 1 year driving a forklift or similar operating equipment.
- The ability to read, write, mathematically compute, and operate a computer using basic functions is required.
- Ability to maintain motivation and work independently and as part of a team.
Physical requirements
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and some fine finger dexterity. Job requires 50%+ sitting, 50%+ walking, and 50%+ standing.
- Work is in a food manufacturing warehouse environment with frequent temperature variations. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for safety. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Food safety requirements
- Place high priority on food safety, quality, and sanitation by understanding and executing Thrive Foods’ food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Hold self and others accountable to Thrive Foods food safety & sanitation guidelines and policies by communicating any food safety incident, observation, or opportunity to leadership or teammates.
- In the absence of Lead, serve as back up to ensure all food safety, quality objectives and SQF system requirements are met.
