US Farathane is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator. Se busca conductor de montecargas con experiencia en recibos/envios.
Summary
Assist in warehouse functions required to ensure accurate inventories, receipts, and shipments to internal and external customers. Must be able to drive a sit-down forklift. A forklift test will be conducted during the interview.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in cycle counting of warehouse inventories.
- Assist in auditing inbound and outbound shipments.
- Operate a hi-lo upon successful completion of training course and written test.
- Operate shipping and receiving equipment including barcode equipment and UPS machine.
- Assemble warehouse racking as needed.
- Load trucks with finished goods for customers, verifying shipper with product loaded.
- Unload, receive in, and store purchased materials after verification and inspection.
- Keep warehouse organized and clean.
- Ensure stock rotation (FIFO).
- Assist in cycle counting and auditing shipments.
- Stage and label outbound products correctly.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.

Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read simple words and numbers, print and speak basic sentences.
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, handling money and measurements.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions, solve problems with concrete variables.
- Physical ability to talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle, move up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and occasionally sit, climb, or balance. Vision abilities include focus, depth, peripheral, distance, and close vision.
Work Environment
Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, occasional outdoor weather conditions, moderate noise level. Reasonable accommodations available.
