Base pay range: $38,000.00/yr - $52,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Publix Super Markets. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Forklift Operators are responsible for maneuvering powered industrial equipment to move cases and pallets, place them into assigned slots, and move product from the receiving dock to reserve locations. They replenish pick locations as needed, rotate inventory using the most dated inventory first, and help maintain a clean warehouse. They may fill in for Warehouse Selectors and other positions as needed. The responsibilities listed on this posting are not all-inclusive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Be at least 19 years old
• Ability to work nights
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
• Successfully complete a Work Attitude Survey
• Obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations (on or before start date)
• Ability to lift a minimum of 67 pounds
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist
• Ability to operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of the body outside the operator compartment
• Ability to stack product of varying weights
• Ability to work under strict time requirements
• Ability to read, write, and identify and verify numbers
• Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if the associate remains employed through the issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
