The role is a Forklift Operator on 2 shifts: Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday, starting at 5:30 am. Pay is $18/hour with benefits after 30 days.

Purpose of the Role: Safely and efficiently load and unload customer trailers, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Move materials across the operation to meet production requirements and assist in manual hand-sorting of pallets by product specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols to support the Plan to Zero (PTZ) safety goal. Operate forklifts safely and efficiently following company safety behaviors, processes, and procedures. ((Training And Certification To Be Provided))
• Quality Management: Accurately sort pallets by product type, manufacturer, and quality grade based on visual inspections.
• Production Support: Meet and sustain production and quality targets; perform other tasks as assigned by site leadership to support daily operations.
• Team Collaboration and Values: Work effectively within a diverse team and adhere to the company’s mission and values.
• Environment and Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization by practicing "Clean as You Go" and good housekeeping standards.
• Equipment and Physical Requirements: Operate forklifts safely and efficiently; lift up to 70 lbs regularly; perform tasks involving repetitive motions (bending, twisting, reaching, lifting).
• Knowledge and Experience: Familiarity with pallet jack operation. Previous forklift experience preferred but not required. Experience in a fast-paced, production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
