Responsibilities

• Move product from the palletizer and within the warehouse to trailers and various other warehouse locations.
• Load trailers according to loading specifications and in a timely, accurate, and damage-free manner as measured by customers and receiving destinations.
• Receive, unload, inspect and correctly warehouse all in-bound shipments (finished goods and materials) using safe procedures while maintaining product quality and accurate inventory management.
• Conduct trailer inspections prior to loading and after unloading inbound trailers.
• Operate forklift and highlift equipment to move product and maintain sanitation; follow FIFO for finished products; repair and recoup damaged goods as needed.
• Perform accurate inventory transactions into warehousing systems; tag pallets, record production, organize warehouse supplies, and service palletizer equipment.
• Accurately pick products for mixed pallets, palletize and stretch wrap finished skid.
• Report or take appropriate action when quality checks do not meet specifications.
• Improve operations through individual and group problem solving; provide leadership in solving problems disrupting daily production goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment promoting associate safety and product integrity.
• Know the product "Hold" criteria for applicable areas; all associates are responsible for safety, quality and food safety in their work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School/GED
• Be 18 years of age or older; possess High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• Must be willing and able to work varying shifts and schedules
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English
• Successful completion of a substance screening and background check
• OSHA forklift certification
• Preferred: 3+ years of manufacturing experience operating various machines; 2 years in manufacturing or a technical/trade discipline
• Demonstrated competency in computer software including MS Office and email; knowledge of inventory control principles

Compensation And Benefits

Salary Range: $17.91 - $19.20 USD. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) with company matching contributions. Minimum vacation/PTO and paid holidays are provided; paid sick leave varies by role and location in accordance with local laws.
