Join to apply for the CNA Restorative -PRN role at Aegis Therapies. This position is with the Rehab Therapy Team in a rehabilitation center / skilled nursing facility setting, located in Harker Heights, TX.

Role

Restorative CNA - Wellness Instructor (PRN). Working with the Rehab Therapy Team. Schedule: Weekend coverage - as needed. Setting: Rehabilitation Center, Skilled Nursing Facility, Senior Care Wellness.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and work with the therapy team to provide wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.
• Receive full restorative training onsite. CNA Certification required; no restorative experience necessary.
• Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed.
• Exclusive restorative responsibilities (ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, active/passive range of motion, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care) with limited or none of the less desirable CNA tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Current CNA certification in the state of practice
• Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist or similar area, preferred
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations, preferred
