You will assemble, test and troubleshoot electrical circuits on our products, as well as design test fixtures for lab use. Due to the nature of the work required for this position, this is an

onsite

opportunity. You will be required to work from our Mountain View, CA Headquarter office. Occasionally you might need to do some work in one of our other locations in Fremont, CA or Hollister, CA. In this role you will join Wisk's 6th Generation eVTOL development team working with other Lab Technicians and Electrical Engineers to plan, develop, run and report testing of the Energy Storage and Power Systems as well as Propulsion circuit boards in the lab. You will also develop test reports, troubleshoot circuits that do not meet specifications and repair or modify boards with soldering irons and other rework equipment. What You Will Do

Read and interpret schematics to understand circuit functionality Perform lab testing to measure circuit performance and conduct troubleshooting utilizing both ad-hoc methods and written test procedures Conduct root cause failure analysis of circuits down to component level Assemble breadboards and rework circuit card assemblies Create or use test procedures and create test reports to document lab results Develop test equipment as needed to enable more efficient circuit testing Operate existing thermal chambers and custom test stations Develop automated testing using LabVIEW, python scripts (or equivalent) Occasionally supports production issues related to testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuit boards Comply with EH&S, ESD and FOD training Requirements

Technical Associates diploma / degree in electronics technology, or electrical engineering (or equivalent) Able to read and comprehend electrical schematics and printed circuit board drawings for digital and analog circuits 1-2 years hands on Lab experience using: Power Supplies, DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, & Spectrum Analyzers Hands on experience assembling breadboards and conducting basic rework of circuit card assemblies using a solder iron Understanding of communication standards and protocols (RS-422/485, CAN, ARINC-429, Ethernet, SPI, I2C etc. Experience accessing and using PCB design CAD tools, Altium preferred Experience loading and working with microprocessors and software Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Excellent organizational and communication skills Desired

Experience with high power electronics (> 600V DC) Experience with brushless DC Motor Controls Experience with high voltage battery management systems Experience with manual rework of SMT components and automated rework stations for BGAs Compensation And Benefits We offer excellent total rewards which include a competitive base salary, annual bonus, long term incentive, 401K, health benefits and much more.
